There is humor, but I can’t say I laughed that much, because most of the jokes are again at a kid level. It might be a little more emotional overall, because this is probably the last time we see Venom (I hardly doubt it), but it ends up kind of empty. Bang is there… I think, but let’s see how and when they use it again… it’s Sony after all. This is a popcorn movie that reminds me of comic book movies from the early 2000s. The action in the third act is mostly good, and there are a few funny moments here and there. Are there plot holes and some problems in the story? Yes. It’s just another “turn off your brains” movie. There are two scenes in the end credits, the first is pretty important, the second not so much.
