About the deal Warner Music Group Film & TV licenses. Perhaps I was too excited to see the third part of the X-trilogy, because I left the theater a little disappointed. Mia Goth is great as Maxine. But the character deserved a better ending. The stakes didn’t seem high enough. I’m a fan of Kevin Bacon, but his character wasn’t threatening at all. He was more comedic (in a way annoying) and got too much screen time. Killing was fine. The detectives were one dimensional characters… and the ending was disappointing. I would like to see something more like Tarantino. The best thing about the film (besides Mia) is the use of 80s music and nostalgia. But I can’t blame the creators of the film for this.
